At the end of last year, Longxin launched a new generation of Longxin 3A4000/3B4000 series processors in Beijing, using the same 28nm process as the previous generation of 3A3000/3B3000, with a new generation It is more than twice that of the previous generation.

 

According to Hu Weiwu, the general-purpose processing performance of the Dragon Core 3A4000 is comparable to that of AMD's 28nm final product "Digger" processor.

 

In 2020, Longxin will launch a new generation of processors, namely Longxin 3A5000 and Longxin 3C5000 series, of which Longxin 3A5000 is a new generation of desktop processors, planned to flow in the first half of 2020, 12nm process, each chip contains 4 cores, main frequency 2.5GHz, single-core performance reaches about 30 points.

 

Longxin 3C5000 is a new generation of server processor, planned to flow in the second half of 2020, using 12nm process, each chip contains 16 cores, supporting 4 to 16-way servers, with high-end server commercial competitiveness.

 

According to Hu Weiwu, China's independent basic software and hardware, represented by CPUs and operating systems, is currently at a critical stage of development.

 

Hu Weiwu said that the use of independent basic hardware and software to support national security and industrial development has become a consensus among the government, the public and industry, and the construction of a third set of information technology system and industrial ecology independent of the Wintel system and AA system has become an important part of the "new infrastructure".
